Open data is the building blocks of the future
Our friend Elsa explains open data in just one minute
Open data entails all the information we create that can be freely used, re-used, combined and shared. Examples of open data can be traffic information, satellite data or weather data, to name a few. See more at oppnadata.se where open data sets from the public sector are listed. Combining data in new ways have the potential in creating new and useful tools for a better society, a smarter Sweden so to speak.
We need to become more government agencies, municipalities, academia, companies and organizations who contribute to Hack for Sweden with their open data – only that way we can build new useful tools for a better society for our future Sweden, a Sweden 4.0!
